Aged 1.5 years in concrete, and 1.5 years in French oak barrels

Grenache isn't normally my (Sarah) favorite wine... So we set out to make this a Grenache I would want to drink, and we certainly achieved it. I have been SO excited to release this wine and share it with everyone! The wine isn't super heavy in body, it is light and bright, but also boasts 16.1% alcohol, so it isn't a weak wine by any stretch! It is balanced and fruity with a hint of spice from the barrel aging. The alcohol is not prominent in this wine, especially if served slightly chilled (55-60 degrees F) and I am so proud of that fact. This wine is a testament that high alcohol doesn't have to dominate a wine and we were able to achieve an amazingly balanced representation of Grenache.
